Tiru Kudalloor- Jegath Rakshaga Perumal, Near Kumbakonam

This is one of the 108 Tirupatis of Lord Vishnu and the Lord here is glorified in Divya Prabhanda.

Jegath Rakshaga Perumal in Tirukoodalloor is in Ayyam Pettai.  The idol of Vishnu here is in a standing positon.The Utsavar  also has the same name. The thayar here is known as Pushpavalli. All the Devas gathered here to worship the Lord hence the name Tiru Koodalur.
This temple is known as Aduthurai Perumal in Vadakurangaduthurai,a village in the outskirts of   Kumbakonam.
The God is  believed to have appeared to sage Nandaka and  Ambarisha.

A jack fruit tree with a natural shape of a conch on the stem of the tree is unique to this temple.

Grishaneshwar-Ellora caves road, Aurangabad

Grishneshwar means Lord of compassion and  there is reference of this temple  in  Shiva Purana.

This  is one of the 12 Jyothirlingams and is highly revered by Hindus all over the world.

This  temple was destroyed in 14th century and was rebuilt in the present form by Ahilyabai Holkar in 18th century. The temple is built with reddish stone and the 5 tier spire is very beautiful .
The temple allows devotees to offer worship directly to the Lord Shiva here.

Tiruvenkatamudayan temple-Ariyakudi,Sivagangai district.

Ariyakudi is 5 Kms. from the town of Karaikudi and is famous for the Venkatchalapathi temple known here as Thiruvenkadamudayian Koil. This temple is  believed to be 500 years old.  

The legend is that a great devotee of  Lord Tirupati Balaji when he was unable to visit Tirumala due to old age  was blessed by the  Lord with a swaymbhoo idol which was found under a Tulsi plant in his native place of Ariyakudi. Hence this  temple is  considered to be an important abode of Lord Balaji. It is also believed, a worship here is equivalent to a worship  at Tirumala and hence it is called Then Tirupathi meaning Dakishna  Tirupathi. 

Apart from the main Vishnu idol other deities are Alarmelmangai Thayar, Andal and Moolai Garudan. 

This temple is just 15 Kms from Karapgavinayagar temple Pillayarpatti.

Madhava Perumal temple- Mylapore, Chennai, Tamilnadu

Madhava Perumal temple at Mylapore is dedicated to Lord Vishnu and is said to be at least 800 years old.

Legend- The great sage Bhrigu was yearning for a child and Lord Vishnu instructed Lakshmi to be born as the sage's daughter. Later Vishnu as Madhava Perumal married Lakshmi , known here as Amrithavalli . The Lord here is also known as Kalyana Madhavan as he married Goddess here.
Devotees offer worship for getting good match in life and also for getting off springs.

The main sanctum has Lord Madhava and on either side of the main temple are shrines of Amritavalli  and Andal.
Sub shrines inside the temple are  for Boo Varahar , Peyazhwar, Ramanuja and Manavala Mamunigal.

It is also believed that sage Vysa also performed his penance here as this was a Holy place.

The temple is easy to locate as it is just a few meters from the Mundakanniamman temple and about a  kilometer walk from Kapaleeshwar temple.
The serene divine atmosphere of this temple is captivating as one can have darshan of  Lord peacefully
